CITRIS and the Banatao Institute

CITRIS and the Banatao Institute is calling for submissions for the 2017 Seed Funding Grant Program. Seed Funding is one of CITRIS' flagship programs because it facilitates both multi-campus and multi-PI collaboration, as well as financial support for faculty and affiliate projects.

The Seed Funding program has awarded over $7 million dollars since its inception and helped kick-start 133 different projects since 2007. This year, CITRIS is offering $550,000 in total grants, with most individual awards ranging from $10,000 to $60,000. We want to maximize the power of multiple campuses to help faculty and affiliates gain the resources to test a new idea concerning research in the interest of society. These fields of interest include: people and robotics, connected communities, sustainable infrastructure, and health.

If you are interested in catalyzing your project or proposal by applying for the Seed Funding grant, please join us. CITRIS will be holding a Seed Funding Workshop that will discuss the requirements, application process, and any questions you may have concerning Seed Funding.
