Brief Information

I joined UC Santa Cruz as an Assistant Professor in September 2002. I received my PhD and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and I received my undergraduate education in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.

Personal

I grew up in Singapore, a tropical island at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. Now, I live in San Jose, California with my husband and two lovely children, Isabella and Andre.
