I received my BS in physics from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, Tehran in 2002 and my MSc in condensed matter physics under the supervision of Prof. Keivan Esfarjani from the same university in 2004.

Since 2005 I have been a PhD candidate at the Electrical Engineering department of UC Santa Cruz. My supervisor is Prof. Ali Shakouri.

My main research interest is thermoelectric transport in bulk and superlattice structured semiconductors both theoretically and experimentally.
