The Behrens distribution is similar to the t distribution, however in the two sample problem the Behrens distribution can handle unequal variance situations while the t distribution relies on various kinds of kludges to approximate unequal variances. As noted in the readme, I was able to find an efficient method for calculating this distribution and have been made mention on Peter M. Lee's website for his book on Bayesian Statistics.

I went to Seattle in August of 2006 for a statistics conferences and presented a poster with Prof Trumbo from CSUEB on boxplots that analyzed the outlier detection rate for boxplots.
