I am a graduate student in the bioinformatics program at the University of California at Santa Cruz. After receiving a bachelors at Virginia Tech with a major in computer science and minors in mathematics and biology, I worked almost two years at the Greenwood Genetic Center, a non-profit dedicated to treating and identifying genetic causes of mental retardation and other conditions.
