    Visualization of a Kinesin Walking on a Filament

  • walk9.mpeg is the new version. Two-headed kinesin is walking on a filament. The camera is fixed to the track.

    There are some new features in this version.

    (1) The transition from the unstrained state to the strained state is represented by several frames instead of just one frame.

    (2) The color of the head changes gradually in both the spatial direction and the time direction. The whole process involves the redefinition of the colormap, the color axis and the certain graphics display properties. I finally figured out how to do it.
