Let me see, what do
you need to
know about me?
Currently I am working
towards my
MS in statistics at the Applied
Mathematics
& Statistics Department (AMS) located in the Jack Baskin School of Engineering
(JBSOE)
at the University of
California, Santa
Cruz (UCSC). Over my time here in
the AMS department, I have been a teaching assistants for classes such
as AMS 11B: Calculus
II for Economics
and AMS 131: Introduction to Probability Theory.
My
Current Teaching Assistant Duties Are:
Spring 2008: AMS 11B
Office Hours: TBA
Winter 2008: AMS 11B
Office Hours:
Tuesday 12-1 and Wednesday 12:30-1:30
Although I am
attempting to get my
Masters Thesis/Project underway by Spring
2008; I have
been involved in other research projects while obtaining my BS in
applied
mathematics at CSU Bakersfield
(2006). While at CSUB, I began work on a
project with
advisor, Dr. Behseta, entitled
“Statistical Analysis
of Primary Motor Neurons in the Anticipatory Phase of a Movement” that
introduced me to the world of Bayesian statistics and caused me to make
the
jump into the concepts of statistics.
Currently my life
outside of
school in non-existent, however, I still have managed to enjoy
numerous
activities ranging from dancing and teaching (ballet, tap and jazz),
playing
the flute to being interested in the world of Japanese animation or
Anime as it
is better known.
I think that is
possibly all that you
need to know about me.
