Getting To The Silicon Valley Center
The Silicon Valley Center is located in Building 19 at Moffett Field in the NASA Ames Research Center. Government issued identification will be needed in order to enter. While in the NASA Research Park you and your vehicle will be subject to search at any time.
Door-to-door directions to the main gate can be found using Google Maps.
Once you arrive at the main gate, you will need to use our map to get to Building 19.
Parking is available in the lot in front of the building, or in any unmarked space in the lot directly behind it. Classes will meet on the second floor in room 2069 or room 2073.
For your convienence, we have included general directions from several areas below.
From the UCSC Main Campus
- Take Hwy 17 North toward Oakland/San Jose
- Exit onto Hwy 85 Mountain View/Gilroy - taking the north ramp toward Mountain View
- Exit onto Moffett Blvd and keep right
- Follow Moffett Blvd as it becomes Clark Road. Bear right once you enter the NRP
- Bear left onto South Akron Road
- Follow South Akron Road to McCord Ave and make a left at the stop sign
- Turn left on North Akron Road
- Make a right into the parking lot
From the South Bay
- Take Hwy 101 North toward San Francisco/Downtown San Jose
- Exit onto Moffett Field
- Make a right on Moffett Blvd
- Follow Moffett Blvd as it becomes Clark Road. Bear right once you enter the NRP
- Bear left onto South Akron Road
- Follow South Akron Road to McCord Ave and make a left at the stop sign
- Turn left on North Akron Road
- Make a right into the parking lot
From East San Jose/Milpitas
- Take Interstate 680 North towards Sacramento
- Exit onto Hwy 237 West toward Mountain View
- Exit onto Hwy 101 North toward San Francisco
- Exit onto Moffett Field
- Make a right on Moffett Blvd
- Follow Moffett Blvd as it becomes Clark Road. Bear right once you enter the NRP
- Bear left onto South Akron Road
- Follow South Akron Road to McCord Ave and make a left at the stop sign
- Turn left on North Akron Road
- Make a right into the parking lot
From North of Mountain View
- Take Hwy 101 South toward San Jose
- Exit onto Moffett Blvd and make a left
- Follow Moffett Blvd as it becomes Clark Road. Bear right once you enter the NRP
- Bear left onto South Akron Road
- Follow South Akron Road to McCord Ave and make a left at the stop sign
- Turn left on North Akron Road
- Make a right into the parking lot
