The http://www.soe.ucsc.edu/ Web site aims to serve the diverse needs of SOE community.

Our privacy policy describes our policies on information gathering. This site includes measures to prevent email harvesting.
Some SOE sites use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt information between clients and servers. Import our root Certificate Authority (CA) certificate to create a trusted relationship for these sites.

- SOE's installation of the Bricolage content management system publishes content whose requirements warrant it. (Bricolage CMS)
- Database of SOE personnel & offices helps keep contact info up-to-date.
