Graduate Requirements - Computer Science

Continuing students may elect to fulfill the requirements in effect at the time they entered the CS Graduate Program or any version of the requirements in effect while they are in the program, but each student must fulfill one complete set of requirements in its entirety. Students cannot combine different sets of requirements and Master's students need departmental approval to switch between the project and thesis tracks. Contact the CS graduate assistant for the requirements prior to 1996.

• Requirements for the M.S. in Computer Science (Thesis track):

  • Fall 2001 to Spring 2002
  • Fall 1996 to Spring 2001
• Requirements for the M.S. in Computer Science (Project track):
  • Current
  • Fall 2002 to Spring 2004
  • Fall 2001 to Spring 2002
  The project track did not exist prior to Fall 2001.
