The CE department's monitoring and feedback (as written by Cyrus
Bazeghi)
Component B requires a year and a half of engineering topics, consisting
of engineering sciences and engineering design, which is exceeded by our
requirements listed above. All students must take the capstone
design course (ce123a, and
ce123b);
The prerequisites for this class alone would satisfy the
requirements for Component b. This course consists of both a classroom
component and a lab intensive component and focuses around a
substantial design project.
The requirements, for example, include CE121/L,
CE100/L, EE70/L,
CE12C/L,
CS12A, and
CS12B, which would take a minimum of one and one
half years to complete with concurrent enrollment in some classes.
We get short-to-medium-term feedback on the engineering topics from the
core exam
(which includes questions from CE 107).
