Internship Duties: * Write feature & website copy for KUSP.org. * A combination of using Dreamweaver and hand coding HTML to support and create new web pages on the site. * Edit and encode radio programs to be podcast and archived, using Adobe Audition. * Website maintenance, including copy editing as well as locating and repairing broken links. * Work with the New Media team to develop new content and features for the site. * Performs other duties as assigned. Internship Qualifications: * Excellent written & oral communication skills coupled with great organizational skills and a high degree of motivation. * Desire & ability to perform independent work on deadline. * A passion for radio, new media & web technologies including podcasts, streaming audio & blogs. * Windows computing skills including Microsoft Office skills. The ideal candidate will also have a knowledge of Adobe Audition, Dreamweaver, audio encoding tools, and basic HTML. * Ability to perform detailed web research preferred.
