[Genome] Affy probes

Could you please explain to me why when we see the affy ids mapped onto
your genome browser it appears that the probes expand across the whole
transcript when in reality it should only map to the 3 prime UTR. For
instance each individual Affyids contain 10-15 probes and they are
designed to map to the 3 prime UTR but on the browser they appear to
span the whole transcript.
