Hi,
I have been using the UCSC In-Silico PCR application, and I have gotten a confusing result.......Can you please tell me what it means when the in-silico PCR results state:
"Chr22_random:13255+13348" 94 bp
The primers I entered also give the correct genomic region, which is a 94 bp segment on chromosome 11. This is for the APOA1 gene.
I am just confused what this "chr22_random" means, and why the primer set would give the exact same pcr product (94 bp) for both regions. Any additional information you can give would be greatly appreciated. J
Thanks,
Shantel Weinsheimer
