[Genome] How to plot Recombination Rate data

Hi,
I've downloaded data from the "snpRecombRatePerlegen" table. I'm however 
uncertain how to plot data, say in spreadsheet, to obtain plot similar 
to that in USCS genome browser (i.e. peaks in spots with high 
recombination frequencies). Intuitively, I'd use sliding window... If 
there's a description of that problem somewhere online, please pardon my 
ignorance and guide me to that page. I didn't find the answer in 
genome at soe.ucsc.edu mailing list or elsewhere.
