Good Morning Maria:

You can read about the fasta sequences in the FAQ:
	http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQdownloads#download1
	http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQdownloads#download5
	http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQdownloads#download9
	http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQdownloads#download16

Repeats are masked by lower case letters. Unknown sequence
is marked at N.

I want to know how the unknown bases are noted in sequences. Since masked repeats are marked by Ns. Secondly, how can i get information about the position of unknown bases ?
