Hello Steffan,

If you are looking for uploading your data into Genome Graphs, then
marker names can be used in submissions to the hgGenome.

You can find the tool by clicking on "Genome Graphs" on the navigation
bar on the home page of our website or by visiting this URL:
http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgGenome

Read more about the tool here:
http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/hgGenomeHelp.html

Otherwise, you will have to use your list of marker names as a pasted
list in the "identifiers" function of the table browser. For this to
work the track with those types of identifiers needs to be selected.
With your identifiers list and the correct track, you can get the
positions of those identifiers out of the table browser in the usual
ways with the usual table browser options.

I hope that this helps. If you have any further questions please don't
hesitate to contact us again.

Regards,

Archana
