[Genome] multiz alignment generation...

Hi,

I am looking for information & literature on how multiz alignments are
generated, particularly 17 way. I have looked at the description linked
to the "describe table schema" option in the table browser, but I was
wondering whether you had any more detailed descriptions elsewhere, or
if you know of any papers that might provide this...
