[Genome] Help very early error: MySQL

Hello,
I have been accessing the genome browser daily for a long time. However,
during the past month, I have encountered the following error:

"Couldn't connect to database hgcentral on localhost as centuser. Client
does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider
upgrading MySQL client"

I am able to open the browser. But when I try to access the DNA sequence,
or look up details of any track (for example clicking on gene information
or mRNA information), this error comes up. I have contacted our computer
help desk but they were unable to help me. I am accessing human assembly,
(March 2006)but the same error comes up whether I use any other assembly.
I use Internet explorer version 6. I have a PC.
