Jeffrey,
In the knownToU133 table we map the most overlapping probe sequence
alignment from U133 to the each of the Known Genes. There should only be
one probe sequence mapped to each Known Gene but each probe sequence may
map to multiple Known Genes. Please let us know if you find otherwise and
send examples.
When I say Known Genes, I mean am actually talking about mRNA transcripts.
Each gene may be represented by several transcripts in Known Genes and
therefore you could have a gene being mapped to several different probes.
