I forgot to mention the bin (indexing field to speed chromosome range
queries) field. Thanks. LH

Subject: question about fields in table browser
To: genome at soe.ucsc.edu
Hello,
I am using the table browser to perform a comparison between the human
genome and the pig and cattle genomes. You describe the schema for the cow
net and chicken net, but I am still unclear about some of the fields. They
include level (level of alignment), strand (orientation of query) and
chainID ( associated chain Id with alignment details). Could you please
elaborate of those three fields? I would appreciate your assistance.
Thanks. LH
