I know this is the other side of the atlantic (but these days the pipes
are very fast). The Guinea Pig genome is up at Ensembl:

http://www.ensembl.org/Cavia_porcellus/index.html

and SSAHA (our BLAT like tool) and BLASTable:

http://www.ensembl.org/Cavia_porcellus/blastview

and has our 2x gene build, so orthologs etc can be found, eg:

gene=ENSCPOG00000012651;db=core
