Good Morning Etienne:

From the genome browser graphical display, use the "Tables" link
in the blue navigation bar to go to the "Table Browser"
	http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTables?db=hg18

Select:
group: Genes and Gene Prediction Tracks
track: UCSC Genes
table: knownGene

Click on the "describe table schema" button to see the structure
of this table. Decide on which of these attributes you would like
to select from the table. Use the blue navigation bar "Tables" from that
schema display to get back to the main table browser display.

Select output format: "selected fields from primary and related tables"
enter a file name in the "output file:" entry box to receive the results
on your computer. Optionally, check the "gzip compressed" output if
that has meaning to you.

Press the "get output" button, and on this "Select fields" page, you want
at least to check:
name
chrom
strand
txStart
txEnd

And any other fields that would be useful to your analysis.
Finally, the "get output" button from that screen will send the results
to your specified output file.

Thank you for your interest in the UCSC genome browser. Please do
not hesitate to contact us again if you require further assistance.
