[Genome] Clone question

Hello Julie,

We map the chromosome bands with data we get from NCBI and the FISH
data, in this case, from Fred Hutchinson and Wellcome Trust. All
cytology is subject to the low resolution of light microscopy, and
either value could be off. The sequence from the NCBI record definitely
BLATs to the sequence location indicated in the browser.

Note that the chromosome bands were generated about one year ago --
when we were creating the hg18 browser. The FISH data were deposited
into NCBI in 1999.

Regards,
