Hi,

I've downloaded the all_mrna.txt.gz(date:2007-01-07) file for the HG18
build today (2007-01-10) and found a number of perculiar alignments.
In some cases the strand information does not seem to be correct! I
encounter (++) 10 times and (+-) 22 times.
Is this an error, or am I missing something here?

Below is 1 example as can be found via the genome browser.

AF242868 Alignments
This aligns in multiple positions. Click on a hyperlink to go to
tracks display at a particular alignment.

 SIZE IDENTITY CHROMOSOME STRAND START END cDNA START END TOTAL

  883  100.0%         17     +  35761724  35766003  AF242868   689  1571  1572
  883  100.0%         17     ++  35761724  35766003  AF242868   689  1571  1572

Kind regards,
