Hello,

I just came across the alt splicing track, which is marvelous. However, I was
unable to find any documentation regarding the algorithm behind it: Is it based
on ESTs? If so, how many ESTs are needed to define an exon as skipped? What are
the criteria for including ESTs? How does it deal with mixed events (for
example an exon undergoing both skiping and alternative 5'ss)? Also, I notice
this track exists only for human, but not for other genomes - is there an
intention to create it for other genomes as well?

Thank you very much,
Schragi Schwartz
