Hello Minou,
NM_001002843 is part of the RefSeq Genes set, and therefore also part of
the UCSC Genes set (which is partly based on evidence from RefSeq). The
RefSeq Genes set is curated by scientists as part of the NCBI RefSeq
Project, described here:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/RefSeq/
We do not name the sequences here.
More information on any RefSeq gene is available by clicking on the
links on the details page for each gene. Here is the details link for
NM_001002843:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/viewer.fcgi?db=nuccore&id=50811872
I hope this information helps. If you have further questions, please do
not hesitate to write back to this list.
