Hi Hisakazu,
You can download the refLink table in hg18 or mm8 using our Table Browser.
The name column contains the gene symbol and locusLinkId column
contains the Entrez gene ID.
An alternative is to download the hgncXref table in the proteome database,
which contains official HGNC(HUGO) gene symbols and Entrez gene IDs.
Fan.

Subject: [Genome] xref with Entrez GENE id and official gene symbols
I am very impressed with the efforts on genome annotation by UCSC.
I could not find the cross-refs with Entrez GENE id
and the official gene symbol.
Could you let me know how to link your MOUSE and HUMAN
data with Entrez GENE id and official gene symbols?
Regards,
Hisakazu IWAMA
