Xiuping Yu,
We do not sell the BAC clones, but I can tell you how to find out where to
order them from. First, go to our home page and click on the Genomes link
on the menu bars. Then select the human assembly that you are interested
in and type chr16:85169616-85172804 into the position/search box and
press submit, then you can view that region in the human Genome Browser.
We align only the end sequences for the BAC clones and they are in the BAC
End Pairs track.
Scroll down to the Mapping and Sequencing Tracks section and turn the
BAC End Pairs track on to full visibility using the pull down menu. You will
then see that there are several BAC clones that span this region
e.g. RP11-1017A18. If you click on the BAC end pairs alignment for a
clone, then you will see a clone link at the top of the page to
information about the clone at the NCBI Clone Registry. On the NCBI
Clone Registry page, there is a section, Distributor Information that
tells you who to contact to order this BAC clone.
I hope that this helps you. Please let us know if you have further
questions.
