[Genome] Clear button

Hi,

    I have been an avid user of BLAT for years.  It is a wonderful program.
However, I recently began using a MAC OS 10.4.8 and there is a problem with
the clear button for BLAT searches.  When I open the program I usually use
it multiple times over several hours.  When I first open the page, and I use
both Mouse BLAT and Dog BLAT, the clear button works.  However, after a few
uses, max 6 so far, it no longer works.  This is especially obvious if there
is a long interval between searches.  If I take off for lunch it never works
when I get back.  Note that Mouse BLAT clear can stop and Dog BLAT clear can
still work for a while, so they are independent.

I also use a MAC 9 at times, and there the clear button works all day with
no problem, so it is something about the MAC 10 environment.  One thing that
sometimes happens if I press clear in MAC 10, a previously used sequence
gets entered in place of the one I am clearing.  However, after a while this
stops, and nothing happens after I press clear.  I can still delete the
contents of the sequence box after selecting them, but the clear button is
obviously preferable.  My Institute is pushing me to use MAC 10 on the WEB
rather than MAC 9, so it would be nice if the clear worked well.
