[Genome] compiling overlapSelect

Good Afternoon Amit:

We'll have to check with the developer of those lines of code
and see if those calls can be changed to just fputc and fputs
instead of these _unlocked forms.  I don't see those functions
defined anywhere in the Mac libraries.
