Biography

Alexandre Brandwajn received the Ingenieur Civil degree from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications, Paris, France, and the Doctor-Ingenieur and Docteur es-Sciences degrees from the University of Paris VI. He started his carrer as a researcher at I(N)RIA, France, in the area of operating system performance evaluation and solution methods for queueing models of computer performance. Leter, hee joined the the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Telecommunications where he was a professor of computer science for four years. He was with Amdahl Corporation, Sunnyvale, California, where he was the manager of Systems Analysis, prior to joining UCSC.

He is currently professor of Computer Engineering at UCSC.
