The 33rd International Conference on Very Large Data Bases takes place on September 23-27, University of Vienna, Austria. VLDB is one of the top-tier database conferences, at the same level with ACM SIGMOD and PODS. The acceptance rate this year was 16.9% (91 accepted papers out of 538).
