Seminar Description:
This (2-unit) seminar will provide an introduction to important contributors and ideas in high-tech management. It will begin with some basics of human personality types, needs, values and motivations (drawing on the literature and on the instructors experience in management), and then move to management topics based on this perspective. This will lead to examination of management and leadership topics in organizations, organizational behavior, and specific issues facing high-tech companies in their creation, growth, and survival. (Guest speakers may participate as available.)
