ISM 280S – Technology and Information Management Seminar

Seminar Times:

       Wednesdays, 5-6:00 pm (questions from 6:00-6:30)

UCSC Silicon Valley Center in Mountain View, CA [map]

 

*      Speakers will present at the UCSC Silicon Valley Center

*      Talks may also be viewed via a live telecast to the UCSC campus (room E2-192).

*      A reception / social hour with refreshments will be held from 4-5pm at the Silicon Valley Center prior to each talk.

*      Students are highly encouraged to enroll in ISM 280S-01 for credit through Teleslug (CCN: 63984)

*      Arrangements for UCSC students to travel to the Silicon Valley Center to attend the talks may be provided and/or coordinated. Please contact Kevin Ross kross@soe.ucsc.edu for details.

*      Students who wish to enroll but whose schedule does not permit traveling to SVC can enroll in ISM 280S-50 (CCN: 63985).

 

Seminar Description:

This seminar will expose students to both practical and research issues in technology and information management through weekly talks by leading industry practitioners and researchers. Topics covered will include engineering/product design and development, entrepreneurship, e-business, strategy, and marketing.
