News and Announcements

The solutions for homework 5 are in my mail box in the Faculty Services Office, BE237 on the second floor of Baskin Engineering. The office should be open from roughly 8-5 closed for lunch. I have also put 6 extra copies in a box outside my office door, if the Faculty services office is closed but as there are a limited number of copies get it from my mail box if you can.

Please be sure to check the final examination times and the Midterm dates. To take the class you must be able to make these dates. The midterm will not be moved unless the new time is acceptable to all students enrolled in the class. Exams will not be admisintered at other than the scheduled times except in the case of dire circumstances.

Course Description

Credit Hours: 5 Units

Analog integrated circuit design with emphasis on fundamentals of designing linear circuits using CMOS. Covers MOS devices and device modeling, current mirrors, op-amp design, op-amp compensation, comparators, multipliers, voltage references, sample-and-holds, and noise; and introduction to more complicated systems using these building blocks, such as phase locked loops and analog-to-digital converters. If time permits, integrated circuit layout issues and device/circuit fabrication.
