Announcements
- 25 May: The sensor networks papers for Thursday, June 2nd have been posted.
- 25 May: There will be no class on Thursday, May 26th because of the SSRC retreat. Students are encouraged to attend the talks—there will be many talks on distributed systems at the retreat. The SSRC retreat talk schedule is online.
- 4 May: Final papers will be due at 5 PM on Monday, June 6th. Poster presentations will be from 2–4 PM on Tuesday, June 7th. If the poster session will present a scheduling problem for anyone in the class, please let me know (by email, preferably) as soon as possible.
- 4 May: All of the papers are posted, except for those we'll cover in the last week of classes (sensor networks and distributed databases).
- 6 April: Paper summaries are due at noon on the day of the class in which we'll review the papers. The earlier due time is being done so the reviews can be used during class discussions.
- 3 April: Papers for this week are now available online. You will need to access them from the ucsc.edu domain, except for papers freely available from off-campus and linked directly to the schedule (such as USENIX-published papers).
- The first class will be on Thursday, March 31st. There will be no class on Tuesday, March 29th.
