Homework 4 is posted.
If you do an exceptional job on homework 3, you only need to complete 1 other assignment to pass this course.
You will be notified by email if your hw 3 was found exceptional.
You will also be notified by email if your hw 3 was found unsatisfactory (Not Pass)

All new SOE graduate students (except EE students without TA offers) are expected to enroll in CE/CS200.
All CE students should enroll in CMPE200.
EE students with TA offers should enroll in CMPE200.
All CS, AMS and BME students should enroll in CMPS200.

Assignments

Introduction

This course is a joint venture for the new graduate students of the Computer Science and the Computer Engineering Departments. The intent of the course is to prepare students for teaching and research in the School of Engineering. This web page is also contains links to other resources of interest to graduate students. The course is being co-taught by Suresh Lodha and Alexander Brandwajn. If you are enrolled in Bioinformatics Program, please contact Kevin Karplus for discussion section, location, and hours. The TA for this course is Svetlana (lighty) Kagan.


Grading Policy. Do not take CMPE200 or CMPS200 for a Letter Grade. You must attend 8/10 lectures AND 8/10 sections to pass. You must also get a satisfactory in at least 3 of the 4 assignments.
