In this assignment, you will extend your schema using an ER diagram as a tool. Since this lab involves a diagram, you need to either turn in your assignment in pdf, postscript, or in person.

1. First, you are to design an ER diagram. This should include the information from the schema you used in previous labs. In addition, you should add three new entity sets and a few relationships.
2. The next step is to convert your ER diagram into a relational database schema.
3. Now, list functional dependencies for your schema.
4. With functional dependencies in hand, decompose your schema into BCNF or verify that it is already in BCNF

For this assignment, you are to turn in the results of these actions. Since there is a diagram involved, text is not sufficient. You should turn in either an electronic copy submitted by the deadline, or a hard copy handed to the professor or the TA by the deadline. As a reminder, on Wednesday the TA has office hours from 1:30-2:30 in Social Sciences 1 room 135 on the PC side.
