CS 116 - Software Design Project
Grading Criteria

Course grades are comprised of two parts:

• Class participation (10%)
• Exams (30%)
• Software design project (60%)

Students are expected to perform required readings prior to the start of class. Students may miss up to two class sessions without penalty.

The grade for the software design project is subdivided as follows (all percentages are of the total course grade):

• Game concept document (5%)
• Game design document (15%)
• Initial technical design document (15%)
• Revised technical design document (10%)
• Final project implementation and presentation (15%)

Students must receive a passing grade for their project, and for class participation, to pass the class.
