CS 116 - Software Design Project
Grading Criteria

Course grades are comprised of two parts:

• Article reviews and class participation (30%)
• Software design project (70%)

Students are expected to write reviews of all assigned readings, and to participate in class discussion on these articles. Students may skip up to two article reviews without penalty. Students may miss up to two class sessions without penalty.

The grade for the software desgin project is subdivided as follows (all percentages are of the total course grade):

• Game concept document (5%)
• Game design document (15%)
• Game requirements document (15%)
• Technical design document (20%)
• Final project implementation and sell-off (15%)

Students must receive a passing grade for their project, and for class participation, to pass the class.
