CMPS-105 -- Unix Systems Programming
There is no web page. Instead, there is a Unix directory
located on the Unix.ic machines. You will be required to have a
UCSC IC account in order to submit assignments for the course.
Once you have your IC account, you may use it to ssh into
`unix.ic.ucsc.edu'.
You may access the course directory at:
http://www2.ucsc.edu/courses/cmps105-wm/
/afs/cats.ucsc.edu/courses/cmps105-wm/
From off campus, you will be prompted to enter a username and
password. It has been previously posted to the newsgroup that
you may also gain access via:
http://library.ucsc.edu/services/sluglink/slink_connect.html
Do not enter your own username into the box if you get a
request. Login to unix.ic.ucsc.edu, cd to the directory above,
and cat `.htpasswd'. That will tell you the username. Leave
the password field blank.
Assignments are in the directory:
http://www2.ucsc.edu/courses/cmps105-wm/:/Assignments/
/afs/cats.ucsc.edu/courses/cmps105-wm/Assignments/
The syllabus is also in that directory. The files ending with
the suffix `.ps' are Postscript files and those ending wiht
`.pdf' or PDF. Choose whichever you prefer:
http://www2.ucsc.edu/courses/cmps105-wm/:/Assignments/syllabus-cmps105.pdf
http://www2.ucsc.edu/courses/cmps105-wm/:/Assignments/syllabus-cmps105.ps
http://www2.ucsc.edu/courses/cmps105-wm/:/Assignments/syllabus-cmps105.tt
The general UCSC Baskin School of Engineering CMPS-105 class
page with a SUMMARY AND EXTENDED COURSE DESCRIPTION is in the
parent directory: http:../index.html
