Latest Information
- 12/6/05: Final grades
are now posted. Class average is between
A- and B+. Have a good vacation!
- 12/2/05: YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SUBMIT YOUR FINAL PROJECTS NOW.
DEADLINE IS 6PM TODAY.
- 12/1/05: It's a little after 7pm. Looks like the disk quota
for the class locker has not been increased yet. So, when you try
to do a submit, you'll get a message like:
ERROR: No space left on device.
Until that problem is fixed, which will hopefully be sometime
tonight or early tomorrow morning, here's what you can do:
- Email your submission to pang@soe.ucsc.edu
- Check back tomorrow morning, say after 9am, to see if you
can submit. You should still do the submission even if you've
already emailed me your file.
The deadline for the final project submission is moved to
tomorrow, Friday by 6pm.
You can check if your submission went through successfully by doing:
peek cmps080v-ap.f05 proj
- 12/1/05: The class locker will be ready around 5pm today.
You need to submit your final project to the class locker by midnight tonight.
- 12/1/05: Looks like the class locker is full. I've put in
the request to get additional space. If you have problems submitting
your final project, here's what you need to do:
- Make sure you have a copy of your project somewhere safe,
e.g. in your own computer, and/or in your own locker.
Also make sure you don't edit it any further past the deadline
or it will be considered late (assuming we don't get the class
locker increased by then and need to look at your other for the project).
- In the meantime, email your project to us (pang and ygg) by email,
but make sure there's no virus attached.
- 11/28/05: Just posted the midterm 2 grades. Note that a few
students did not submit the online portion of the exam! If we can
find those files, and if the time stamp shows that it has not been
altered since the exams were due, we can still grade them.
- 11/22/05: We have two lab sections and TA office hours (10:30am to
11:30am and 5:00pm to 6:00pm) tomorrow 11/23/05 at BE 109.
- 11/21/05: As advertised, the midterm will have a written part
and an online part. The topics include: PROTO, Extrusion, Sensors,
Interpolators, and Lighting.
- 11/16/05: Check out the approved projects
page. If you're on the list, get started on your project now.
If you're not there yet, you have till NOON 11/17/05 to get your
project approved. After that late penalty will apply!
- 11/16/05: Reminder, our next midterm will be next Tuesday.
