- One midterm (1 hr 45 mins), May 3, 2pm - 3.45pm: 25%
- One quiz (1 hr), June 5, 2pm - 3pm: 20%
- Final (3 hrs), June 14, 8am - 11am: 25%
NOTE: The dates of the midterm, quiz and final are fixed and cannot be
changed.

- You can open a terminal window to your account on unix.ic.ucsc.edu
(the campus UNIX system) using a program called an SSH client. You can
find numerous
UNIX tutorials on the web, and feel free to ask for help in the class discussion forum.
