Description:
An introduction to applications of discrete mathematical systems. Topics
include sets, functions, relations, graphs, trees, Boolean algebra, propositional
logic, predicate calculus, mathematical induction, permutations, combinations,
summation, and recurrences. Examples are drawn from computer science and
computer engineering.
