Subject: Exceed setting for angus (old Athena)
Hi Professor Hughey,

I reply you the setting using unix because I have to
be in the Ming Ong lab to see the setting.

First, the user would go
Start->Other application->X-Windows->Xterm on mo-sun.ucsc.edu (Click).
Then, in order to do setting, the user should type in
the login and password at the prompt window (but that won't work as
x-win with lockers support yet.) Then, they should right click
on the exceed program ico at the bottom bar to open up the menu.

In the menu, there is a Tools->Client Startup->New (click)
Then select RLOGIN as start method. In the host field, input angus.
In Host type, Click on the [...] button, then Double click UNIX, select Xterm.
Press OK. Then a weird line including xterm -display will be in
the command line. Last, check the Login info by the prompt:
, check the Show on client startup Menu. Then go File->Save as, type in angus
then save.

After that, the user can close the setting window,
right click on exceed again, Tools->Client Startup->Angus
. Then CLick, type in login, pass. click ok.

Wait for a while, then click on tools->client startup again.
(Sometime just wait for a long while...)
Then a Enter Reply for Prompt will showup.
then just press the [Send+Done] button then they will be all set.
Xeamcs will work, so will xspimsal. (I guess angus has lockers support.)

Bye, late to math class already.

TA, Joseph.
