Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Question 3: How can I run perl on my windows machine?

Answer: We are in the process of putting together instructions for how to use both perl and the graphical debugger ptkdb on a windows pc.  Please keep an eye on the Windows HOWTO to see what you can do.  In the meantime, we encourage you to use macintosh computers as much as possible to maintain continuity in the course.

Question 2: Can I audit the course?

Answer: Yes!  But please let Josh know first.  We just want to make sure every registered student has a computer available in the lab.  If space fills up, we may ask you to bring a laptop to the computer labs.  Currently, there is plenty of space, so please join us.

Question 1: Can I still register for the course?

Answer: Yes!  If you need registration codes please ask Josh.
