12-10: Provisional final grades are available. Check below.

Homeworks 1, 4 and 5 were curved due to their extra difficulty, homeworks accounted for only 5% of the final score, and the midterm accounted for 35%, quizzes accounted for 10%, lab assignments 10% and the final 40%. The final was slightly adjusted (curved).

VERY IMPORTANT: Remember that Lab scores below 60% will imply failing the lab. If you're in this situation you should come see me as soon as possible!

Conversion table between scores and grades:

F: < 60%

D: 60-64.5%

C: 64.5-69.5%

B-: 69.5-74.5%

B: 74.5-79.5%

B+: 79.5%-84.5%

A-: 84.5-89.5%

A: 89.5-94.5%

A+: 94.5-100%

Dateline for week of final exam:

By Thursday evening we hope to have posted the scores for the final and a list of provisional final grade for the class (keep checking the web for updates on this).

Each student should check all of his/her scores.

If you have any question regarding ANY score (including the final one fore the course) or if you just want to pick up your final I will be available Friday morning from 9:00am to 12:00pm at my office (Baskin 137).
