HOMEWORK

THE RULES

  1. The homework is assigned, by section, from the 12th or custom (paperback) edition of the textbook: Introduction to Mathematical Analysis for Business, Economics and the Life and Social Sciences, by Haeussler, Paul and Wood.
    If you are using an earlier edition, then it is your responsibility to turn in the correct problems.
  2. Please staple your homework.
  3. Assignments are due on the days specified in the table below.
    • Homework will be collected in class.
    • You may also turn in your assignment to my office (E2, rm 409) by 3:30 pm on the day it is due.
    • Please do not put homework in my mailbox, or send homework by email.
    • Please do not turn in your homework in section or MSI.
  4. Late homework is not accepted for any reason, (see rules 5 and 6 below). You should work on each assignment a little bit every day, and turn in whatever you have completed when it is due.
  5. There are no exceptions to rule 4: unexpected absences from school, flat tires, homework-eating dogs, etc., are all covered by rule 6, below.
  6. Your lowest 3 homework scores will be dropped, (these may include the 0's you get for missing assignments).
