The Departments of Applied Math & Statistics, Biomolecular Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering & Information Systems Management offer an excellent environment for significant research and education. Our faculty engage in highly visible research while sharing a commitment to excellence in graduate education. In addition to expanding into a new Engineering II building, The Jack Baskin School of Engineering is creating unprecedented collaborations with organizations such as NASA/Ames and the National Science Foundation. In addition, the School has developed a multitude of research centers including Center for Biomolecular Science and Engineering, the Institute for Networking, Information Systems & Technologies, Engineering Research Center for Biomimetic Microelectronic Systems, California Institute of Quantitative Biology (QB3) and the California Institute for Information Technology Research in the Service of Society (CITRIS).
